Volunteer Spotlight: Q&A with Daniel Needham

Daniel Needham

We sat down with Daniel Needham, a volunteer at our west side ReStore, to learn more about him and why he chose to volunteer with Cleveland Habitat.

What made you want to volunteer with Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity?

I just recently retired and was looking for a way to keep busy and give back.

What tasks do you perform when you come in to volunteer?

I merchandise new product, sort through different tools, price anything going out to the floor, and I assemble anything that needs to be put together.

What is your favorite part about volunteering?

I enjoy being around other volunteers and getting to know them.

What do you do when you are not volunteering?

I like to golf and spend time with my grandchildren and family.

About Daniel

"Daniel is an extremely dedicated volunteer," says Storm Czerwinski, volunteer coordinator for Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. "He started with us back in early January and has stayed on a consistent schedule, coming in twice a week and really helping us back in our merchandising station."

Daniel keeps the product flowing quickly and provides great assistance to the ReStore staff who work with him.

We are excited that Dan has joined our volunteer family and appreciate all of his hard work and continued dedication!
