Individual Giving

When you support Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity you are making a loving investment that not only impacts the lives of our Habitat homeowners but has a lasting impact on an entire community. From the dollar sent to us by a schoolchild to a large gift from a major donor, each and every donation supports our mission to provide safe and affordable housing for families.

How can you give?

  • Celebratory and Memorial Giving

As you plan gifts for family and friends, consider a celebration gift that keeps on giving long after the wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation, holiday or another special event or memorial. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send a card acknowledging the gift you made to Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity in honor of, or in memory of, the person you are celebrating.

Designate a fixed dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a particular piece of property.

A bequest in your Will allows you to make a generous contribution to a charity that you may not have been able to afford during your lifetime. The amount of your bequest is 100% deductible against your income in the year of your death and can be credited against income in the year prior to death, thus reducing your estate’s tax burden.
