Marketing and Communications Coordinator (Full-Time)

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will support the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager with all Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity marketing, communications, public relations and event related efforts.

This role will help manage the coordination, creation, implementation and management of Cleveland Habitat marketing strategies, campaigns, messaging, branding, social media, website, media production and design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, this position will create targeted marketing campaigns and uses a diverse mix of traditional as well as new media for reaching target audiences.
  • Creates, writes and designs collateral materials, including brochures, advertising pieces, newsletters, flyers, print mailers and signage. 
  • Maintain and expand Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity’s online presence including website updates, blog content and online profiles — such as Yelp, Google Business — with the goal of driving traffic to the website and ReStore locations.
  • Track metrics for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube) and Cleveland Habitat website.
  • Ability to tailor content for various social media platforms.
  • Manage and create email marketing content for bi-weekly e-newsletter.
  • Maintain social media accounts, engage with community/partner/donor social media content and create promotional, interactive and engaging content on an on-going basis. 
  • In partnership with the ReStore team, develop strategies to highlight retail calendar online, drive traffic to the stores and boost sales. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related field with 1-2 years of professional experience.
  • Successful creative writing, editing and messaging experience for print and digital communications.
  • Social media management
  • Excellent time management skills. Ability to establish priorities to meet deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed.
  • Retail marketing experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or other design software.
  • Photography experience a plus.
  • Good aptitude for Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite. Photo and Video editing experience a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and evenings as required.
