Volunteer - Individual Volunteers

Volunteers are the foundation to the Habitat program

People from a variety of backgrounds come together to help make a difference in the communities we serve by building partnerships with families, congregations, civic and business groups, and new friends.

Getting Involved

Ways in which you can get involved with Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity:
  • Volunteering in our ReStore or Wood Shop
  • Helping with administrative projects in the Habitat office
  • Coordinating a Tool Drive at the office, school or place of worship
  • Sharing a professional skill or talent
  • Recruiting others to join Habitat or donate to our ReStore
  • Volunteering on a work site project (8:30 - 3:30; Tu, W, Th, or Sa; weekdays needed most; looking for more skilled leaders to supervise unskilled volunteers on Saturdays)
  • Serving lunch to a volunteer crew on a work site
  • Coordinating fundraising efforts
