The internship program at Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity has three goals:
to provide an educational experience for students
to strengthen Habitat's capacity by supporting staff to complete time-sensitive projects
to improve Habitat's partnership with area colleges and universities.
Habitat expects that candidates will find a true learning experience. By providing a small stipend (made possible through generous support from the Snow Family Foundation), our affiliate is charged with the idea of creating an ongoing successful internship program of the highest caliber.
Mission Statement: Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, a
Christian-based organization, develops opportunities for all of God's people to
act out their faith. By working in partnerships to eliminate substandard
housing, we enable families and volunteers to improve lives. We create hope by
building homes, strengthening neighborhoods and reweaving communities.
